OAN field survey, located by GPS to an accuracy of +/- 1m. A complex of mine shafts and spoilheaps located to the east and south of Lower Park mine complex . The site runs from the large spoil heap shown on the current OS mapping next to the mountain road and the entrance to Park Farm. There are building remains of stone and brick and a drain runs north east- south west towards Minera. There are various small shafts and mounds peppering the area to the south where the ground gently slopes down towards the valley bottom. The sloping area to the south contains several smaller shafts, some of which are marked on the current OS mapping. All of these come under the same site complex number, (NMR 269110). 2002/10/08/OAN/NW
