Concrete hexagonal pillbox, with an embrasure in each face. Opposite the entrance is an embrasure with a Turnbull mount facing NE. This pillbox was surveyed by the Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust on behalf of the Welsh Office Highways Directorate ahead of the upgrading of the A465 road.
