Event and Historical Information:
The LLYSFAEN was a 52nt, composite-built steamship completed in 1867. At time of loss on 3 August 1900, the vessel was owned by H Lupton of Liverpool and registered at that port. The ship was on passage from Widnes to Llandulas when it was caught by a northerly force 7 gale and ran ashore on Abergele Beach.
