This long hut is a single structure, apparently without any associated ancillary buildings or other structures nearby, built in a sheltered position on a piece of relatively flat ground. The building measures 10 x 5m with wall bases formed from a double thickness of stone slabs still standing up to 0.5m in height. The site was identified during the Deserted Rural Settlements Project.
