The Cefn-y-Bryn Ring Cairn is located on a gentle south facing slope just inside enclosed land at 390m above sea level. The site is a low, circular grassy ring bank from 2m to 4m wide rising to 0.2m internally and 0.4m externally (on the south side) surrounding a featureless grassy area measuring 11m from east to west by 10m. On the south is an entrance gap 2m wide. The interior appears to have been slightly terraced into rising ground on the north.
