Leat, shown on the OS County series (1875), springing from a weir on th Nant-y-Pandy, 225m SSW of Deeside Slate Works (Nprn309751). The map depicts it as incomplete, possibly being covered for parts of its way along the steep valley side. The tramway (NPRN 309750) from the quarries further up the valley runs along the same valley side at a lower level.
