Plas Ashpool is an 18th-century brick-built house, with quoins and a pitched slate roof. It has a two-gable, three-storeyed front, with four bays of windows, and an off-centre doorway with a pedimented hood. It has a low, single-storey wing to the right. To the interior it has a heavily carved Jacobean overmantel with heraldry.
