Disgrifiad
A circular ring cairn located on the western edge of Moel yr Henfaes. It measures 11.5m in diameter and consists of a distinctive circle bank measuring 1.2m wide that is constructed of flat scree stones creating a slight bank 0.1m-0.15m high. The banks are more pronounced on the downslope side to the west. In addition there are rounded stones and white quartz within the bank material. There is at least one surviving stone upright standing on the north-west side and there are large flat stones which may have once been used to create a kerb. There are no obvious internal features seen within the centre of the circle. There is however a raised area some 2m in diameter by up to 0.25m high which may be a small secondary funerary cairn which is located on the external edge of the ring bank on the west side. The cairn is situated just downslope of the top of Moel yr Henfaes on the western side and has spectacular views on all sides except to the east. K. Blythe, Oxford Archaeology North, 13th April 2005
