A wheel pit shown as a structure on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map, within the Cwmrhaiadr Mine complex (NPRN 402599). The wheel pit measured 12m northwest-southeast x 2m. Some machinery was still present including the wheel hub when the site was visited in June 2005. The northern edge of the pit had collapsed.
