A shaft shown on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map, probably associated with the nearby Hyddgen lead mine. It may be a trial working, and survives as a linear cut on a northwest-southeast axis, with a depression and an area of development rock, NPRN 285801, c.10m square, further downslope.
