A rectangular stone-revetted wheel pit, shown on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map and now very overgrown. The pit is 9m long east-west by 1.5m internally and 1m deep, sunk into a raised mound. A cavity in the ground a short distance to the east indicates that there is a subterranean channel running into the pit from that side. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 6 January 2006
