Cofnod Safle

A hut circle which has walls that have become grassed over and measures 10m in diameter. The drystone walls are 1.20m wide and 0.40m high and consist of medium sized, unworked stones that appear to be irregularly coursed. The entrance may lie to the south-east. The hut circle lies just to the north of an enclosure (NPRN 287219) with which it may be associated. It is shown on the current OS mapping. P.J. Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 31st January 2006
