Cofnod Safle

A drystone walled sheepfold consisting of two compartments built of roughly piled boulders approx 0.5m in height. Utilizes outcrop of northern and western facing sides as walls, and a possible round hut of iron Age date is facing the sheepfold. This is about 3m diameter internally and 7m overall. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6 and previously by the Ordnance survey and the National Trust.
