A large grass-surrounded mine shaft located on a west facing slope measuring 30m north/south by 15m east/west and oval in plan. Approximately 30m deep the mine seems to have two adits running out of it at the base; one runs west and the other to the east but both are too deep to assess accurately. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6
