DisgrifiadA large quarry tip measuring approx. 100m east-west and 30m high located on a south facing slope in front of a possible tramway embankment. The tip curves around the end of the embankment and surrounds it, resulting in the 'tramway' resembling a spit of land at the base of the incline. The tip itself consists of slate of greatly varying sized blocks. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6
