DisgrifiadCwm Nant-y-Meichaid, Meifod, was a storeyed timber-framed house of partly cruck, partly post and truss construction. It was a hall house with inserted floor and fireplace. Early features included a post-and-panel partition and a dais canopy. Later features included a star shaped chimney. It was a classic example of platform siting - the downhill parlour standing over a cellar. Now demolished.
