DisgrifiadQuarrying activity concentrated in an area 100m east-west by 50m north-south. There are spoil tips, over 3m in height, to the north of the quarry with a trackway leading onto the minor road, to the east. The quarry face is over 6, high and there are piles of stone on the quarry floor. The quarry is located on Quartz Conglomerate rocks of the Wern Watkin Formation in the Upper Old Red Sandstones.
