Located on the N bank of a minor stream, on ground falling gently to the W is an oval/kidney-shaped turf mound measuring 12m (E-W) by 10m. Indented on the streamward side it has a maximum height of 0.6m on the W, but it merges with rising ground on the E.
The mound is turf covered but probing indicates a gravel texture typical of burnt mounds.
