DisgrifiadSt Aelrhiw's church is rubble built, oriented north-west to south-east, with a modern slate roof. It comprises a nave and short chancel, with comparatively large, equal north and south trancepts. It is thought that the present structure, probably 18th century, was built on earlier footings.
