Cofnod Safle

1. A series of possible Roman (or later) round huts in poor condition. The first is 7.5m in diameter with an entrance probably to the east. The wall has a few upright falling stones and is from 1m to 1.3m thick. The second hut is 2m to the north of the first and is 6.5m in diameter. Its walls are 1m to 1.3m thick but there is no obvious entrance. but does not have a clearly visible entrance. Its wall is 1m to 1.3m thick.

2. The site consists of a group of at least two hut circles with potential multi-period field-system and enclosures to the south. The overall area of the field-system is 90m in diameter. Both of the hut circles have been given a separate description (NPRN 287220 and NPRN 287225). The hut circles are shown on the current OS mapping.
