A roughly D-shaped enclosure, c.35m across, occupying an apparently natural terrace on ground falling to the SE, defined by tumbled stone walls & natural outcrops, with a section of later walling on the SW, resting on a straight scarp on the SE, & having a terraced interior.

Relationship with relict field boundary features (400883) uncertain, a possible boundary feature to the W follows the edge of a natural terrace generally parallel to the enclosure circuit.
