Cofnod Safle

The poorly preserved remains of an Iron Age Romano-British settlement consisting of at least three round huts, one of which has been rebuilt as a sheepfold, with a fourth structure, another sheepfold probabaly also built over a futher hut circle. Two of the huts are now very low and grassed over while some of the walls recorded on an OS survey of 1971 are now not easily visible. There are at least two field enclosures associated with the site and probably similar in date.
