On an isolated craggy summit on the south-western flank of Moel Offrwm, a ruinous wall encloses a roughly oval area about 54m east-west by 34m. This has an out-turned south-facing entrance. Observations of a possible circular structure, about 6.0m in diameter, & a cairn at the summit of the irregular interior, have not been confirmed.

Excavations in 1926 recorded pockets of black soil with burnt bone fragments across the summit area. Finds included a bronze finger ring and at least one possibly Roman pottery fragment. Monuments such as this are generally assigned to the Iron Age, although many were maintained and some established anew, throughout and beyond the Roman period.
