1. A 2 storey, stone-built, slate roofed, double-pile, end-chimney, central-stair-entry plan farmhouse of ca 1924 (owner's deeds). Part of the early-C18th, narrower, 1 1/2 storey farmhouse, has survived at the lower gable-end.

2. The early 18th century house has an-end chimney with high set drip stones, for former thatch roof (now slate). The chimneys fireplace has a chambered lintel with chamfer and curve fillet stop. The jambs are dressed sandstone. Four roof trusses are situated above; they are roughly squared pine timbers, probably mid to late 19th century.
