The sib-circular embanked enclosure at Gaer Wen measures some 58m internal diameter, showing traces of a curvilinear building platform, in the region of at least 10m across, within; set on ground falling to the south-east, aerial photographs indicate the former presence of a substantial ditch: a possible south-east facing entrance is apparent.
