A monolith, c.2.5m high, by 1.2m by 1.0m, re-erected with attendant excavation, following collapse in 1963 (Lewis 1966).
An irregular cobbled area, c.3.0-3.3m across, abot the stone-socket was revealed, as was a hollow, 0.5m across containing charcoal, c.1.5m to to the N.
