A barrow upon the eastern spur of Freni-fawr consists of a central mound 9.0m in diameter, 0.5m high, that has been excavated, without there is a well defined stone ring, 0.2-0.3m high and 17m in diameter. An urn cremation in a cist was found when the barrow was opened in the e.19th century.
