DisgrifiadCorbalengi stone is a Monolith, 1.4m high, bearing the inscription:
CORBALENGI IACIT ORDOVS.
The stone has been resurrected, having originally stood upon a cairn which, when adapted to serve as a mill-mound, produced a Romano-British cremation deposit; various coins of Vespasian and Titus are believed to have come either from this mound, or from nearby. The inscription on the stone famously perpetuates the use of the name of the native 'Ordovices' tribe, believed to have occupied north-west or central Wales at the time of the Roman conquest, in an attempt to re-call the past status of the tribe in the post-Roman period.

Can be related to a cropmark enclosure, about 120m to the east (Nprn308916) and to a possible rectilinear feature between the two (Nprn401407).
