DisgrifiadThe SW summit of a NE-SW spur is scarped about to define a D-shaped/oval enclosure known as Top Castle, Eglwyscummin. It measures c.100m NE-SW by 66m, the circuit being bivallate except on the NE, where features may have been lost to cultivation.
A possible outer circuit is defined by a further line of scarps, enclosing a terrace, 20-30m across, again lost/not present on the NE. There is possibly cultivation terracing. Further down the slopes are relict quarrying features, portrayed as 'Old Quarries' on OS County series (1889).
