DisgrifiadThe motte is some 160m south-southwest of St Teilo's Church (NPRN 422378) and the two were probably contemporary.
The earthworks consist of a steep-sided sub-circular mound, some 32-34m across & 4.5m high, having a rather irregular summit area, some 17-20m across; there are traces of a ditch on the south & west, elsewhere the mound rises above the confluence of two minor watercourses: to the west a rectangular area, some 30m across, between the mound-ditch & a pond - see OS County series (Pembroke. XXIX.11 1889), may be the site of an associated enclosure.
