Castell Garw is an oval enclosure, banked and ditched, about 96m north-east to south-west by 74m, set upon south-east facing slopes and having a south-east facing entrance, recent excavation and survey (Kirk & Williams 2000, 283-6) produced a radio-carbon date centring on the period 600-800 BC.
