A ploughed-down round barrow, 16m in diameter & 0.5m high; a central in-urned cremation, set within a small cist-structure, together with a secondary, peripheral in-urned cremation, were recoded in excavations in 1925 (Fox 1925, 281-7).
A second barrow (Nprn401133) lies c.60m to the SE; a third possible example being recorded c.100m to the ESE (at SN19542299), where a BA urn, containing burnt bone, was recovered in 1920 (Trans. Carm. Ant. Soc. & Field Club 14, 29 & 42), from an area where a sepulchral mound, c.15m in diameter, had previously been noted (Barnwell 1872, 135): stones. c.150m to the ESE (Nprn304292), are thought to represent a ruined chambered tomb.
