DisgrifiadTufton Castle is a ploughed-down, embanked oval enclosure, 40m north-east to south-west by 30m. Aerial photography on 31st March 2003 showed cultivation in progress over the eastern half of the enclosure revealing a plough-denuded rampart as a soilmark.
