A standing stone some 23m high, 1.2m wide and 1.0m thick. It was moved here (from SN781306) in 1825 to ornament the grounds of Cilgwyn House (see NPRN 266174) & is depicted on the 1st edition OS County series (Carmarthen. XXVI.12 1887).
The stone bears the following inscription:

ST PAUL'S MARBLE/FROM PENTWYN FARM/PROPERTY OF/J J HOLFORD ESQ/PLACED HERE/10th MARCH 1825/BY J J H JUN'R
