Terminus of the GWR extension of the former broad-gauge Carmarthen & Cardigan Railway (nprn 305101), which had terminated at Llandysul. The line closed in 1973, apart from sections near Henllan (Teifi Valley Railway) and Bronwydd Arms (Gwili Railway).
