A mutilated and partly ditched, steep sided, flat-topped mound, 18m in diameter and 1.8m high. The site has been interpreted both as a castle mound, or ringwork, and as a round barrow. As a barrow it is compared with others recorded nearby (NAR SM92NW3), however these are not ditched. possibly a multi-period site.
