A D-shaped enclosure, about 44m east-west by 40m, resting on steep natural slopes on the east & south-east, ditched elsewhere & ditched & banked to the north, where abutted by a second D-shaped enclosure, 70m north-south by 68m, banked and ditched except where it rests on steep natural slopes on the east: a third line of ramparts, sectioned when cut by an oil-pipeline, springs from the south of the first enclosure before leading north to define a possible 152m by 174m enclosure circuit (AW 19 (1979), 23 No. 40).
