Tre-Maenhir Stone I is a standing stone, c.2.0m high, described as slender and tapering. Depicted as a 'monument' by OS because it bears the inscription 'J.G. 1860'. Together with a second, possibly smaller stone that once stood c.15m to the SW (Dat Prn2758), this monument might be considered as a stone pair. A third stone (Nprn305317) stands c.100m to the SE.
