Disgrifiad
On farmland south of Pen-y-Bont at Newbridge 152m above sea level is a fine-grained hard, grey stone 1.75m high from the bottom of the hollow in which it stands, 0.2m deep by 3.5m broad. It is 1.2m east-west at the base, by 0.75, and leans to the north about 25 degrees. Its base (1.14m by 0.76m) is roughly rectangular and the south face is featureless. The stone is otherwise irregular in form, with a flat head. Packing stones are visible around the base. It was found when a hedge was removed shortly after the turn of the century.
