An isolated stretch of bank and ditch is located on the east side of a mountain road running through a narrow stretch of open moorland between areas of enclosed land, to the east of Clawdd-trawscae farm. The stony, turf-covered bank is mostly overgrown with gorse bushes. It measures overall 56m long, aligned north-east by south-west. At its best preserved it is 5.4m wide with a height of 0.5m on the south but is 1m high above the bottom of a ditch which runs alongside the bank on the north. The bank-and-ditch formation measures 7.5m across. To the north-east the final 10m or so are largely ploughed down.
Across the road to the south-west the bank and ditch can be followed for a further 9.5m.
A second dyke lies about 1.25km to the north-west (NPRN 305948).
