The rectilinear cropmark at Llowes is adjacent to Llowes Motte (NPRN 306068) and possibly associated.

The cropmark is the north part of a sub-rectangular ditched enclosure, immediately north-west of a ditched mound (Nprn306068). If the enclosure is assumed to have rested on the river cliff on the south, dimensions of c.48-58m NE-SW by at least 50m, the west side lying beyond/coinciding with NE-SW hedgeline, are achieved. The east side coincides with the mound ditch.
