St Michael's church is located about 300m south-west of the junction with the A4042 on the north side of New Inn. An apparently medieval church the early origins for which are indicated by some fabric and the evidence for the Rood screen. The other sixteenth-century features are the waggon roofs, but these could well be post-Reformation. The south porch is dated 1756; this may refer to the porch alone, or to a more considerable rebuilding. The church was restored in Victorian times and also in 1904, all the fittings and furniture seem to be late nineteenth-century type, as are the windows. The church is probably untouched since 1904 apart from reroofing.
