St Michael's church is located on the south-west edge of the village of Llanfihangel Gobion. It is built in the Gothic Perpendicular style, long-wall entry type. A prominent feature of this church is the integral massive tower; its plain nature and lack of windows, which may suggest a date earlier than 15th century .
