Norman nave, chancel C14, tower and porch probably C16. West gallery added 1818. C19 refurnishing and restoration. Constructed of local grained red and grey limestone with concrete roof tiles. Consists of nave with W gallery, separate chancel, W tower and S porch. Medieval interior features are the walling and the rere-arches of the windows and doors, the plain Norman chancel arch with impost blocks and tall pointed tower arch. Furnishings mostly Victorian
