The Larches hillfort is located on the crest of a steep, north-facing slope in woodland. It is a roughly D-shaped enclosure measuring about 52m north by south by 46m, and is defined by a bank and ditch except on the north, where it rests on steep natural slopes. There is a west-facing entrance.
