A c.3.6km stretch of Roman road, part of route west of Carmarthen (Nprn114111), running parallel with the A40 (east to west), is represented by discontinuous earthworks, parchmarks and quarrypits, running from SN25471683 to SN21881687. The central section of this segment constitutes a single 2.5km east-west alignment, in the west turning to head west-north-west at SN22441678 (Nprn308888), and to the east turning rather north of east at SN24971680 (Nprn308880).
