Aerial photography in very low winter light on 10 January 2003 revealed earthworks of a polygonal enclosure c.40m across with an additional bank to the SW, on lawns 175m south of Margam Abbey house. Enclosure may be an ornamental or garden feature; alternatively it could be a surviving lowland prehistoric defended enclosure. 2003/5017-41 & 50.
