A pair of single storey rectangular buildings, c1789, located in front of furnace no 1. Of rubble stone masonry, with ashlar and brick dressings. The cast house has three arched ground floor openings; three upper openings, with a central arched opening flanked by two ocular openings; slate pitched roof. The adjacent foundry is of similar design, only without a roof. Component of Blaenavon Ironworks (nprn 34134).
