St Michael's Church, Michaelchurch-On-Arrow, has some medieval fabric, probably thirteenth century, and was restored in 1869. It is of rubble stone construction with a stone tile roof. It is comprised of a nave, chancel, western tower, south porch, and gabled vestry. The slender arch-braced roof has pierced arcading dividing the nave and chancel. There is a fine fifteenth century screen, and partial survival of a pre-Reformation ciborium at the east end which is probably unique in Wales. Set under a coved ceiling with moulded ribs, the cental rib has four carved head bosses.
