Date of 1668 over the inner face of the arch; re-modelled in C19. Constructed of brick, with stone dressings. 2 single storey pavilion blocks linked by arched entrance. The shield of arms over the gateway was added in the C19. W elevations have 4-centred arched doors with loft entrances above; the elevation facing the garden in S pavillion has 3x3 mullioned and transomed windows, probably original. The pavilions originally had open arcaded fronts which have since been blocked.
